Law Student in Savannah Wins Georgia State Bar IP Scholarship

Savannah Law School part-time 2L student Scott Hendrix was recently awarded the prestigious IP Law Scholarship sponsored by the IP Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. The factors that the panel considers when selecting an awardee include GPA, general and in core IP courses, involvement in IP organizations, both within one’s law school and within one’s community, participation in IP scholastic initiatives, and prior IP experience.

Hendrix earned a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering at Georgia Tech, and currently works full-time as a patent agent at Johnson, Marcou & Isaacs. He also serves as the associate editor of the Savannah Law School Law Review.
