Assistant Dean Ortega and Professor Malempati of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School presented at the 2015 Georgia Conference on Children and Families (GCCF) which took place in Augusta, Georgia from October 21-23, 2015.
The GCCF is one of the biggest annual interdisciplinary gatherings in Georgia. It is designed to bring together a community that helps children and families, including child advocacy, juvenile justice, social service, legal counsel, and the faith-based community.
The conference provided a forum to improve competencies, network, and learn from experts in the field with the goal of improving outcomes for children and their families. Dean Ortega talked on Post-Disposition Advocacy for Delinquent Youth and Professor Malempati spoke about Bridging the Gap between Dependency and Delinquency.
